Job 37:14Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of GodMoses 6:63all things are created and made to bear record of me. I
want you to know two more things; first all things testify of God, and
if we do not confess that all things bears record of him and his hand
in all things then his wrath will be kindled against us. Alma 30:44; Moses 6:63 44
But Alma said unto him: Thou hast had signs enough; will ye tempt your
God? Will ye say, Show unto me a sign, when ye have the testimony of
all these thy brethren, and also all the holy prophets? The scriptures
are laid before thee, yea, and all things denote there is a God; yea,
even the earth, and call things that are upon the face of it, yea, and
its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular
form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator.

And behold, all things have their likeness, and all things are created
and made to bear record of me, both things which are temporal, and
things which are spiritual; things which are in the heavens above, and
things which are on the earth, and things which are in the earth, and
things which are under the earth, both above and beneath: all things
bear record of me.
This
verse says, Gods works’ shows his hand in his creation. God gives
the intelligences, which possess the elements, laws they are to obey
like the law of gravity. Therefore because of law that God has
given to nature there is order and because nature has order we can come
to an understanding of how God works and how nature works. In
addition God wants us to understand nature so we can be prepared for
storms, volcanoes, Earthquakes, etc.
D&C 59:21And in nothing doth man offend God, or against none is his wrath
kindled, save those who confess not his hand in all things, and obey
not his commandments.
Helaman 12:7-17O how great is the nothingness of the children of men; yea, even they are less than the dust of the earth. For behold, the dust of the earth moveth hither and thither, to the
dividing asunder, at the command of our great and everlasting God. Yea, behold at his voice do the hills and the mountains tremble and quake. And by the power of his voice they are broken up, and become smooth, yea, even like unto a valley. Yea, by the power of his voice doth the whole earth shake; Yea, by the power of his voice, do the foundations rock, even to the very center. Yea, and if he say unto the earth—Move—it is moved.
Yea, if he say unto the earth—Thou shalt go back, that it
lengthen out the day for many hours—it is done; And thus, according to his word the earth goeth back, and it
appeareth unto man that the sun standeth still; yea, and behold, this
is so; for surely it is the earth that moveth and not the sun. And behold, also, if he say unto the waters of the great deep—Be thou dried up—it is done. Behold, if he say unto this mountain—Be thou raised up, and come
over and fall upon that city, that it be buried up—behold it is done
I
watch two different programs on the exodus. The first shows that
there is evidence that the plagues did indeed accord and they were able
to use the geological evidence and a historical evidence to figure out
how the plagues accord. This first program show that fault’s in
the area were active and released iron into the water causing the river
to turn blood red which in turn cause frogs, lice, flies, death of
cattle, boils and blains, locusts, and the death of Egyptian firstborn
in order. At the same time a major volcanic eruption in the
Mediterranean island called Thera cause hail of fire, and then thick
darkness in Egypt. In addition this program shows
that when the Israelites cross the sea the tectonic plate lifts
therefore draining the sea as a result of an earthquake. Then when the
Israelites finish crossing the sea the tectonic plate sinks back down
and a tidal wave sweeps the Egyptians. All this is shown in “The Exodus
Decoded” documentary. This program thinks however they were
crossing the sea of reads. Which contradicts scripture and there is no
chariot evidence there. However the Gulf of Aqaba eastern red sea
has an elevated path through it with chariot evidence and lacks
coral. In addition this would have taken Moses strait into Midian
where his father-in-law is the leader. This shows that Egypt’s
geology testifies of God’s hand in saving the Israelites.
Remember God is the one that given to the Elements what laws they are
to obey. Abraham
2:7 For I am the Lord thy God; I dwell in heaven; the earth is my
footstool; I stretch my hand over the sea, and it obeys my voice; I
cause the wind and the fire to be my chariot; I say to the
mountains—Depart hence—and behold, they are taken away by a whirlwind,
in an instant, suddenly. There can be miracles when you believe
I
like to conclude with my testimony. I know that God created the Heavens
and this Earth. I know God is the Father of our spirits. I know
that his only begotten in the flesh has suffered to answer the demands
of justice and he also died and was resurrected so we all can be
resurrected. I
know even though there are many Gods we are to worship our Heavenly
Father because we are indebted to him for all things and to no one
else. I know that God prepared the way for the restored Church by
inspiring men to create the printing press, and causing the banner of
freedom to go before all men so they can think for themselves. I
know God has restored his church in preparation of Jesus 2nd
coming. I know God prepared ways for certain Gospels truths to be
restored in order to prove the Bible to be his word and to clarify it
and bring all men to a clear understanding of his Gospel. I know
the scriptures are true and when understood correctly do not contradict
scientific evidence, fact, or absolute truth of any kind. I know
there has to be a supreme creator because nothing can be organized from
chaos otherwise. I know all things testify of his hand in all
things. I know this by the power of the Holy Ghost who testifies
of all truth and teaches truth to all true seekers in the name of Jesus
Christ, Amen.
