“We will go down, for there is space there, and we will take of
these materials, and we will make an earth whereon these may dwell.”
Abraham 3:24. This first quotation gives a very important principle,
which is, God formed this earth from chaotic matter. This is contrary
to most of the Christians theory that Earth is made from nothing.
It is also interesting to note that the Abrahamic and JST
Genesis( or Moses) accounts were restored in these, the last days, and
they do not contradict scientific evidence and fact, yet scientific
evidence and fact contradict the corrupted Genesis account.

they divided the light, or caused it to be divided, from the darkness.

Fossil/Rock Record Account Hadean Eon
The fossil/rock record does not show any evidence on how the
earth was formed. The scientists think it was formed by a bunch
of asteroids meteors and other material colliding to form our
planet. Then the low density material surfaced while high density
material moved toward the center of the mass of material.
Analysis of the first period.
The Earth was actually begotten of heavenly, planetary
parents. The earth was within the womb of her mother’s planet
within the water of her mother in darkness. Then the earth was
begotten then the light of Kolob shone on her, she was not in the orbit
of Shinehah the name of our sun.
Then the earth had to grow like us so I imagine asteroids,
meteors and other material fed it and she grew. Also the waters remain
on her, I believe this is so in order for her to have sufficient mass
for her to keep all the necessary material. Because if it was not
massive enough all the hydrogen and other light material will not stick
around like Pluto and mercury.
You might wonder why I say the Earth was begotten and then
orbited Kolob. Orson Pratt said, “There is also a similarity in
the process of creation between the earth and its inhabitants. The
earth when created, according to the accounts we have, was covered with
a flood of waters, . . . by and by emerging from the waters. This
was the birth of creation, the same as we are born here into this
world, from one element into another. After having been brought forth
from the element of water, the process of creation, or the further
development of the earth continued.” “Journal of Discourses”

This is what Brigham Young said about the location of the
creation of the Earth, “When the earth was framed and brought into
existence and man was placed upon it, it was near the throne of our
Father in heaven. And when man fell . . . the earth fell into space,
and took up its abode in this planetary system, and the sun became our

The reason why I say God restored the Abraham chapter 4 account
for this time is because it says instead of day it says time
demonstrating the periods of the earth’s creation is in long periods of
time. This shows God is not in a hurry. Brigham Young said, “our
geologists, and they tell us that this earth has been in existence for
thousands and millions of years. They think, and they have good reason
for their faith, that their researches and investigations enable them
to demonstrate that this earth has been in existence as long as they
assert it has.” “Journal of Discourses” 14:114 3rd

George Q. Cannon wrote, “The whole religious world were shocked at such
an idea, and so in regard to the time occupied in the creation of the
earth. But Joseph taught the true principle connected with this. He
said the days mentioned as occupied in the creation were not our days
of twenty-four hours' length, but were periods of time.” “Journal
of Discourses” 24:251 8th paragraph. President
John Taylor said, “And in those things wherein the world to-day are
puzzled in regard to the Scriptures, and the six days that are there
spoken of, Abraham speaks of those days as times, epochs, or ages,
different and distinct from the days spoken of by Moses, and his record
agrees precisely with many geological facts that have puzzled so many
of this generation.” “Journal of Discourses” 25:202 27 paragraph.
Also, every planet has its own reckoning of time D&C 130:4-7.
Time is not important to God Alma 40:8; D&C 88:44. This is the end of the beginning, this is the first time and they
called the first time the first day. Which it lasted about 650,000,000
years.

Fossil/Rock Record Account Archean Eon
According to Fossil/Rock Record in the beginning of this period
the earth was completely covered by water but at the end there were a
few islands. Also during this period the fossil record shows the
first life forms, single-cell organisms started to inhabit the earth.
However Scientist does not have very much evidence to show what exactly
happens during this period.
Analysis of second period
The earth finishes its growth during this period, but a lot of
the embryonic waters of her mother still cover her. Therefore a
lot of the waters are separated by the gases which come out of the
volcanic vents from under the waters and the materials given to the
earth to grow. And God has those embryonic waters remove from the
earth. This is the second time, and they called it the second
day. Which it lasted about 1,400,000,000 years.
